IMO EHS department organized a fire protection knowledge training and fire emergency drill for all employees in the range of entire company on 1^st August, 2016 in the morning. The entire drilling divided into three processes:

1.    simulation of fire dispersal and first aid at site

2.    Fire extinguisher use on actual fire (open fire observed in safe area)

3.    Operation training of outdoor hydrant.

The training and drilling lasted three hours and involved 35 persons.

The moral and attention of all workers was improved for firefighting skills, fire safety knowledge and awareness of the dangers of fire as well as the understanding of the proper use of firefighting equipment. All employees understand clear how to act in case of sudden emergency and that it is important to carry out the work of production safe has played a positive role during this training. We achieved the objective to deal with the fire accident scientifically, safely, orderly and rapidly; intensify the method for the employees escape in the fire; enhance the command and disposition ability of various department managers to face the emergency situation and get the expected training effect. The employees of IMO participated this training earnestly and finish it successfully regardless the high temperature weather conditions.
