Care for special children and convey warmth with heart.——IMOC Electronic Components (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. visited Changzhou Children's Welfare Institute
August 8th, 2024 is a special day. This is the first time that IMOC visited the public welfare activities, also, we have been supporting 90 students for over 6 years already, making IMOC deeply feel the importance of public welfare.
Mr. Egervari, the CEO of IMOC, led a group of people into the Changzhou Children's Welfare Institute to express their support and witness the living conditions of children with special needs.
At noon, after dining in the scenic area, we also came to the most famous Sakura Valley, walking on the Sakura Valley Road. As if they were shuttling in the sea of flowers like a butterfly, pink and delicate cherry blossom petals fell gently with the wind, so that everyone's heart becomes very soft at the moment as if everyone is part of it.
After taking a boat to bid farewell to the pink turtle head Isle, we went to the next destination - Huishan Ancient Town. Huishan Ancient Town scenic area is divided from the regional function into cultural relics area, Xuhui historic area (Xihui Park) with historical & cultural blocks (Wuxi Huishan Old Street) as well as the mountain protection area which is a national 5A level tourist scenic spot.
The staff of the Institute led a tour through the Institute and learned in detail about the children's upbringing, medical treatment, rehabilitation, education, placement and other aspects. At the same time, we sent greetings to the children, hoping that they can feel the care and love from the society, grow up healthy, happy and strong in the future!
At present, there are more than 100 children in the institution, all aged from 0 to 18 years old and the staff is responsible for caring for them in three shifts, 24 hours a day. Professional doctors and nurses will be responsible for the physical rehabilitation and training of the children every day. Chinese, mathematics, painting, physical education, and art courses are offered in the institution to enrich children's lives and children with normal intelligence will enjoy education in schools outside the institute.
Before the end of the visit, the staff led everyone to appreciate the award-winning paintings of special children and we learned that most of the children have the surname "Chang". The word "Chang" is taken from the "Chang" in Changzhou, where the welfare institute is located. This means that they do not even know their names when they arrive at the institution and a large proportion of children were abandoned shortly after birth when they are found to have a disease. They are unfortunate enough to endure what they should not have to endure. At the same time, they were fortunate to be institutionalized, where they were able to meet their basic needs for survival.
As Mr. Egervari, President of IMOC said, it is not a matter of money, we need to pay and treat it with sincerity. For this special group of children, there is more warmth and love, so that they can feel that this society is full of love and they will not be given up.
The Bible says that every child who comes to earth is the embodiment of angels. Angels are the ones who bring hope, and these angels with broken wings need more protection and love from us.
Finally, we would like to say to them: Beautiful Children, despite these unbearable burdens in life, we are with you!
Caring for special children, IMOC public welfare activities take action, let us warm the society with love and share the small happiness of the world with this group of angels!
