Caring for Special Children, Passing on Warmth with Heart ——IMOC Electronic Components (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. Visits Changzhou Children's Welfare Institute

On August 7, 2025, IMOC's offline public welfare activity was launched for the second time. The previous seven years of online public welfare activities have made IMOC deeply aware of the importance of public welfare and social responsibility. Led by IMOC's president, Mr. Egervari, and Jessie, the team visited the Children's Welfare Institute of Changzhou to console and inspect the living conditions of the special children in the institute.

The staff of the institute led the team to tour the premises and provided a detailed account of the children's upbringing, medical care, rehabilitation, education, and placement. At the same time, they presented gifts to the children, hoping that they could feel the care and love from society and grow up healthy, happy, and strong in the days to come.

Currently, there are about 120 children in the institute, ranging in age from 0 to 18. The staff work in three shifts around the clock to take care of them. Every day, there are professional doctors and nurses responsible for the children's physical rehabilitation training. The institute offers courses in Chinese, mathematics, painting, sports, and art to enrich the children's lives. For children with normal intelligence, they can enjoy education outside the institute.

Before the end of the visit, the staff led everyone to appreciate the award-winning paintings of the special children. We learned that most of the children have the surname "Chang," which is taken from the "Chang" in Changzhou, the location of the welfare institute. This means that when they were admitted to the institute, they did not even know their own names. A large number of children were abandoned shortly after birth due to illness. They are unfortunate, having endured what they should not have. At the same time, they are also fortunate to be taken in by the welfare institute, ensuring their basic survival needs.

During the conversation with the staff, we learned that this year, a 16-year-old orphan was admitted to a key high school in our city with excellent grades. On the day of the score release, all the "dads" and "moms" accompanied him. When they learned the score, everyone was very excited. This hard-won admission notice not only witnessed the growth and breakthrough of a special teenager but also reflected the innovative practice of the "family-like" upbringing model in the Changzhou Children's Welfare Institute.

As Mr. Egervari, the president of IMOC, said, clearly, we have not done enough. We have this sense of social responsibility. We will continue to show more warmth and care to these special children with our actions, making them feel that this society is full of love and they will not be abandoned.

The Bible says that every child who comes to the world is the incarnation of an angel. Angels bring hope. These angels with broken wings need more protection and care from us.

Finally, we want to say to them: Dear children, we will be with you through the unbearable burdens in life!

Let's act on IMOC's public welfare activities to care for special children. Let's warm up the society with love and share the small joys of life with these angels!
