Assessing Team of E.P. Ministry Came to IMO to Examining the Construction of Ecological Changzhou

On June 8^th, 2011, the national examination and acceptance check team that was led by Zhu Guangyao who was previously served as the deputy secretary and managing deputy director of Party Leadership Group of State Environmental Protection Administration and now the vice president of Chinese Ecological Civilization Research and Promotion Association and they made a comprehensive acceptance check for Changzhou’s constructing national ecological city.

IMO was the only plant that was examined by the examination team in Wujin, the team investigated IMO on the industrial improvement refer to electroplating industry and debriefed the situation about pollution abatement and cleaner production, and at the same time, they inspected the production technology and waste water treatment on site and fully affirmed the industrial improvement work of IMO. Zhu Guangyao thought that IMO set an good example for Foreign-funded enterprises by bringing in complete German pollution abatement equipment and carrying out the cleaner production concept in the whole production process. Meanwhile, Qiu Qiwen, the deputy director of Ecological Department of Ministry of Environmental Protection, the deputy mayor Zhu Xiaomin and related leaders of City & District Environmental Protection Administrations accompanied them on the inspection.

On June 9^th, the examination team approved that Changzhou passed the acceptance check procedure for national ecological city. IOM made positive contribution to Changzhou’s constructing national ecological city.
